Keeping it Warm Accentuating the sounds of the daily hum of college activity, the powerhouse, located in front of Sittner Hall, uses about 4500 therms per day in the winter months. Steam power provides hot water and heat for the campus including the pool at the Winter Educational Center. Plant engineer Dennis Anderson works on fabricating a frame to support a vault cover. He, with the help of two student workers, maintains operations at the plant.
