ASHBAUGH--Kraid att., was born Oct. 28, 1914, in Sherwood, Ore., and died Oct. 4, 1999, in Loma Linda, Calif. BLAKELY--Cheryl att., was born Dec. 8, 1958, in Twin Falls, Idaho, and died July 15, 1999, in Kettle Falls, Wash. Surviving: father Donald and mother Andrea of Malo, Wash.; twin sister Carrie McLeod ’83 of Palm Desert, Calif.; sister Shelly Palmer att., of Malo; and grandmother Frances Blakely of Sandpoint, Idaho.

BURGIN--Harold ’50 was born on June 6, 1916, in Billings, Okla., and died Dec. 13, 1999, in Hermitage, Mo. Surviving: wife Virginia Burgin of Hermitage; stepson Bruce Bowman of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sister Geraldine Duel of Marshall, Okla.

COMPSTON--Leslie att., was born July 8, 1922, in Reno, Nev., and died July 25, 1999, in College Place. EDSTROM--Edward ’36 and ’63 was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada, and died Dec. 19, 1999, in Walla Walla. Surviving: wife Lorge “Alyss” of College Place; son Brian ’67 of Oakland, Calif., and brothers Earl, Lloyd, and Milton of Kelowna, British Columbia, and Orville of Vancouver, British Columbia.

EMERY--Curtis att., was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, and died Dec. 8, 1999, in Dallas. FORD--Dorothy (Mahan) att., was born Sept. 26, 1913, in Easton, Ill., and died Aug. 5, 1999, in Walla Walla. Surviving: sisters Alice Mahan and Lillie Blackman, both of Walla Walla.

GUSTIN--Ralph ’35 was born April 16, 1913, in Lyndon, Wash., and died Jan. 8, 2000, in Hendersonville, N.C. Surviving: wife Dorothy (Johnson) of Hendersonville; son Robert of McCormick, S.D.; daughters Delcy Kuhlman of Buchanan, Mich., and Bonnie Condon of Richmond, N.H.; and sister Alma “Ruth” Anderson ’38 of Hendersonville.

HANSEN--Della (Potter) ’56 was born Aug. 3, 1906, in Grand Island, Neb., and died Nov. 27, 1999, in Kennewick, Wash. Surviving: sons Donald of Kennewick and Richard of Seattle, Wash.; daughters Betty Huffer of Chelan, Wash., and Della “Babe” Mattingly of Sutherlin, Ore.; and brother Charles of Hermiston, Ore.

HARRINGTON--Gwen (Judd) att., was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Grove Lake, Minn., and died Sept. 6, 1999, in College Place. HEDRICK--Elvin ’43 and ’45 was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Yakima, Wash., and died Sept. 7, 1999, in Dayton, Ohio. Surviving: wife Willa (Hilgert) ’45 of Dayton; son James; and daughters Merideth Trott and Priscilla Brunner.

HENRY--Robert Dean att., was born June 11, 1922, in Melba, Idaho, and died Nov. 23, 1999, in Grandview, Wash. INGERSOLL--Robert ’55 was born June 12, 1920, in Seattle, Wash., and died July 7, 1999, in Caldwell, Idaho. JOERS--Lawrence ’37 was born Aug. 17, 1900, in Milwaukee, Wis., and died June 5, 1999, in Reedsport, Ore. JONES--Carl a former WWC faculty member, was born Dec. 31, 1910, in Allentown, Pa., and died March 14, 2000, in Loma Linda, Calif. Carl joined the WWC chemistry department in 1953 and became chair in 1959. Surviving: sons John ’62 of Redlands, Calif., and Carl ’67 of Loma Linda.

KENWORTHY--Josephine (Wheeler) att., was born Sept. 15, 1914, in Roseburg, Ore., and died Jan. 7, 2000, in Port Angeles, Wash. Surviving: sons Gary of Sequim, Wash., and Larry of San Rafael, Calif; stepdaughters Shirley Reid of Port Ludlow, Wash. and Sharon Skidmore of Salina, Calif.; and sister Emily McLin ’45 of Shelton, Wash.

LEWIS--Patricia (Wagner) att., was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Spokane, Wash., and died Aug. 19, 1999, in Salem, Ore. LEY--Helen (Winslow) ’33 was born May 29, 1910, in Spokane, Wash., and died Aug. 26, 1999, in Lancaster, Calif. McMILLAN--James att. was born March 7, 1924, in Taft, Calif., and died June 21, 1999, in Sandlake, Ore. Surviving: daughter Mardee Margeson ’80 of Ridgefield, Conn.; and brother Gordon Nelson ’48 and ’51 of Whitmore, Calif.

MONTEITH--Mary Helen (Colby) ’28 was born Jan. 2, 1901, in Oakland, Calif., and died Sept. 19, 1999, in Ukiah, Calif. Surviving: nephew Robert Colby and niece Mary Colby.

MORGAN--Austin ’50 was born Nov. 29, 1912, in Walnut, Calif., and died Aug. 19, 1999, in College Place. Surviving: wife Ione of College Place.

OGREN--Helen (Sulzle) ’56 was born Oct. 27, 1913, in Fenwood, Saskatchewan, Canada, and died April 6, 2000, in Goodlettsville, Tenn. Surviving: daughters Darlene Erickson ’81 of Goodlettsville and Helen “Dollie” (Holler) Teske-Bell att., of Grand Junction, Colo.; and sisters Naomi Jones of College Place, Eunice Hoover of Long Beach, Calif., and Ruby Griffin att., of Portland, Ore.

PIERCE--Warren ’60 was born March 4, 1904, in Ladysmith, Wis., and died July 12, 1999, in Yakima, Wash. Surviving: wife Rachel of Yakima.

ROBERTS--Joan (Dunkel) ’51 was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Norfolk, Neb., and died Jan. 10, 2000, in Langley, Wash. Surviving: husband Bruce ’49 of Oak Harbor, Wash.; sons Jim of Portland, Ore., and David ’92 of Spokane, Wash.; daughter Janean of Grand Marais, Minn.; and sister Mavis of Dunedin, Fla.

SCHABER--Stanley ’61 was born July 21, 1930, in Los Angeles, Calif., and died July 2, 1999, in Port Orchard, Wash.
