BERRY—Nancy (van der Ende) att., was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Lone Pine, Mont., and died Oct. 4, 2004, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Surviving: son Ronn of Walport, Ore.; daughter Cheryl Grounds of Coeur d’Alene; brother Entje of Spokane, Wash.; and sisters Ruth Edwards att., of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Irene Ashcraft of Anchorage, Alaska, and Rebecca Gustavsen of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada.

BIRNEL—Ronald J. att., was born Feb. 14, 1941, in Kalispell, Mont., and died Feb. 10, 2002, in Kalispell. Surviving: wife Donna of Kalispell; sons Ronald Jr. of Chetwynd, British Columbia, Canada, and Donald att., of Bellingham, Wash.; daughters Ronda Thomas, and Radonna Thomas of Kalispell; and sister Darlene McIntyre of Loma Linda, Calif.

BJERK—Wanda L. (Boyd) ’63 was born May 19, 1937, in Kansas City, Kan., and died Nov. 27, 2004, in Tacoma, Wash. Surviving: husband Arthur of Tacoma; son Arthur, III; daughter Erika; brother John Bradan of Shelton, Wash.; and sister Betty McKay of Chicago, Ill.

COWAN—Florence (Beem) ’57 was born May 14, 1914, in Dayton, Wash., and died Nov. 12, 2004, in Redmond, Wash.

DAVIS—George William att., was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Mason City, Iowa, and died June 1, 2004, in Scappoose, Ore. Surviving: wife Evelyn (Nagunst) ’72 of Tigard, Ore.; daughter Brenda Preddie ’86 of Pasco, Wash.; and sister Marge of Hampton, Iowa.

DAWES—Harold Edward ’46 was born Aug. 3, 1916, in Ringling, Mont., and died Aug. 20, 2003, in New Hazelton, British Columbia, Canada. Surviving: wife Ruth (Leno) att., of New Hazelton; daughter Lorna McLeod att., of New Hazelton; and brother Lee of Wenatchee, Wash.

EVANS—Linda L. (Kuehl) att., was born Feb. 15, 1959, in Bremerton, Wash., and died Oct. 7, 2004, in Plains, Mont. Surviving: husband William of Vancouver, Wash.; son Justin of Vancouver; daughter Heidi of Vancouver; parents LeRoy and Shirley of Vancouver; brothers Bryan ’84, and Kevin ’00 of Vancouver; and sister Lisa Merklin of Vancouver.

GREEN—Valdon Dean att., was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Wichita, Kan., and died April 11, 2004, in Bainbridge Island, Wash. Surviving: sons Valallen of Riverton, Wyo., and Laurence of Petoskey, Mich.; father Emery of Denver, Colo.; and mother Alice Allen of McMinnville, Ore.

GYES—Genevieve ’49 was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Vancouver, Wash., and died May 12, 2004, in Vancouver.

HUDSON—Vena (Tatum) ’49 was born Oct. 24, 1918, in St. Petersburg, Fla., and died Dec. 31, 2002, in St. Petersburg. Surviving: brother George Tatum.

KNAUFT—Rudolph “Rudy” C. F. ’42 was born July 17, 1917, in Spokane, Wash., and died Nov. 1, 2004, in Centralia, Wash. Surviving: daughter Elizabeth Stoll of Silver Creek, Wash.; brothers Emil ’39 of Nampa, Idaho, and Henry of Spokane; and sisters Doretta Moreno of Temple City, Calif., Beth Smith of Spokane, and Martha Carmen of Davenport, Wash.

LEARY—John H. “Jack” ’36 was born Nov. 20, 1909, in Nebraska, and died Oct. 2, 2002, in Newport Beach, Calif. Surviving: son Michael of Palm Desert, Calif.; and daughters Susan of Cote De Caza, Calif., and Kathleen of Corona Del Mar, Calif.

LYONS—Imogene (Branch) ’66 was born Sept. 20, 1923, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and died July 7, 2004, in Seattle, Wash. Surviving: sons Charles of Walla Walla, Edward of Spokane, Wash., and David of Bellevue, Wash.; daughters Gladys Wehland of Snohomish, Wash., and Sarah Peterson of Ashland, Mo.; brothers Jake Isles, Bary Branch, Larry Branch, Lester Branch, and Russell Branch; and sister Geraldine Ford.

MANLIG—Walfriede (Pudewell) ’53 was born July 7, 1926, in Seoul, Korea, and died Dec. 7, 2004, in Myrtle Creek, Ore. Surviving: brother Gerhard ’53 of Muscatine, Iowa.

MEDLOCK—Dwight George ’65 was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Kelso, Wash., and died Aug. 27, 2004, in Ephrata, Wash. Surviving: daughter LeAnn Paredes of Quincy, Wash.; and brother Clyde of Yelm, Wash.

MILLS—Eldon M. ’68 was born July 26, 1923, in Polk, Neb., and died Sept. 12, 2004, in Jackson, Wyo. Surviving: wife Opal (Collver) ’69 of White Salmon, Wash.; daughters Virginia Wagner att., of White Salmon, and Janet Fullerton of Moyie Springs, Idaho; brother Kenneth of McMinnville, Ore; and sister Ellouise Robison of Hood River, Ore.

MULLHOLLAND—Douglas James ’89 was born Sept. 17, 1963, in Homestead Air Force Base, Fla., and died Dec. 30, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nev. Surviving: father Marvin of Salem, Ore.; mother Joyce Sipe of Salem; brother Mark of Aurora, Colo.; and sisters Jody Heit of Salem, and Marci Wieman of Scio, Ore.

REED—Jeanette (Hawley) ’69 was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Sioux Falls, S.D., and died Jan. 1, 2005, in Roseburg, Ore. Surviving: sons Daniel att., of Albany, Ore., and Thomas of Tenino, Wash.; and daughter Janet Anderson att., of Snohomish, Wash.

REEVE—Charles Leslie ’48 and ’50 was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Wicks, Ark., and died May 11, 2004, in Keene, Texas. Surviving: sons Donovan of Lincoln, Neb., Derral of Columbus, Wis., Charles of Colville, Wash., Harold of Modesto, Calif., and John of Berrien Springs, Mich.; daughters Joy Fish of Cut and Shoot, Texas, Charlene Masters att., and Barbara Eno of Dassel, Minn.

SHOEMAKER—Naomi K. (Parks) ’63 was born January 5, 1941, in Genesee, Idaho, and died April 23, 2004, in Southboro, Mass. Surviving: husband Rollin ’63 of Waltham, Mass.; sons Stephen of White Plains, N.Y., Joel of Madison, Wis., and Ben of Providence, R.I.; daughter Katy of Berrien Springs, Mich.; brothers Theodore ’60 of Mesa, Ariz, David ’60 of College Place, and Tom att., of College Place; and sisters Patsy Gomes ’60 of Walla Walla, Ruth Massey ’63 of College Place, and Lois Pryor ’90 of Vancouver, Wash.

SYPHERS—C. Erwin ’42 was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Mitchell, S.D., and died Jan. 25, 2003, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: sons Daniel of Vancouver, Wash., and David ’94 of Portland, Ore.; daughters Judith Jacquot ’76 of Casper, Wyo., and Nancy Marshall of Prosper, Texas; brother Kenneth of Sequim, Wash.; and sister June Kirkland of Goldendale, Wash.

ZIMMERMAN—Victoria (Johnston) ’55 was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Springdale, Ore., and died April 3, 2004, in Redlands, Calif. Surviving: husband Duane of Redlands; son Brent Bunch of Chicago Ill.; stepsons Carl of Langley, Wash., and Mark of Redlands; and sister Irene Fitchen of Fairfield, Idaho
