Just Keep Swimming  Bob Mead chose water for his office wall in Plant Services after inspiration from art teacher Martha Mason, who elected orange for the Health and Physical Education Department because the color represents energy. Mead, who is in charge of plumbing, welding, and the key shop, often felt like he was drowning. To create the mural, Mead sponge-painted the wall and applied fish decals, and graphic arts major Nathan Folsom painted on the seaweed and bubbles. These days Mead sees himself as riding in a lifeboat.
