Colored Glass Fluorescent lighting provides the look of daylight to this simulated floor-to-ceiling stained glass window. The 1961 women of AGA funded an $800 project that transformed a storage room by Conard Chapel into a place of prayer, complete with a cathedral ceiling. Dorm residents also purchased a large Bible to be placed in the room as a memorial to two freshmen, Marilyn Drury and Roberta Bandy, who were killed in a car accident on an icy road just out of Walla Walla over Thanksgiving of that year.
