College Avenue Crossings

Gregory Dodds, professor of history and philosophy, slices across the wake at a recent Summer Breakaway activity at Fishhook Park on the Snake River. Dodds brought his boat, one of the two available for summer school students to ski, kneeboard, and wakeboard. Student Activities Director Don Hepker planned weekly Wednesday evening activities for summer school students and staff to have a chance to break away from work and classes and have fun with new friends.

In addition to the midweek fun, Friday evening offered vespers in Conard Courtyard and Saturday night featured games like softball. Other events included an old-fashioned picnic, mountain biking, Frisbee golf, and a viewing of the Walla Walla Community College summer outdoor musical, Annie.
