Ten years ago Walla Walla College celebrated its centennial and another important milestone. In 1992 WWC concluded a comprehensive self-study and evaluation visit by its accrediting organization.

Walla Walla College is a fully accredited institution as approved by the Commission on Colleges, Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges (NASC). This accrediting association ensures that WWC is meeting the high standards that the association requires.

This fall, October 21 through 23, WWC will again welcome commission representatives for a standard 10-year reevaluation of its programs.

“The goals of our regional association state that the accreditation process is to foster excellence, encourage improvement, and assure the quality of the institution,” says Mel Lang, former associate academic dean at WWC and chair of the accreditation committee. “The accreditation process is helping the college achieve those goals.” W
