BALSER—Ruth (Winslow) ’31 and ’39 was born July 20, 1911, in Spokane, Wash., and died August 9, 2004, in Des Moines, Wash. BAUMGARTNER—Edwin ’77 was born March 16, 1954, in Roseburg, Ore., and died March 18, 2004, in Harlingen, Texas. Surviving: wife Pamela (Hilde) ’78 of Harlingen; son Henry att., of Walla Walla; daughters Belissa Whitehill of Omaha, Neb., Gabriela and Luisa of Harlingen, and Ruth Pryce of Dallas, Texas; mother Irene of College Place; and brothers Paul of Molalla, Ore., and Monte of Warrenton, Ore.

BLEHM—Walter ’46 was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Hitchcock, Okla., and died Oct. 5, 2004, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: wife Shirley (Ruud) att., of Portland; sons Randal of Portland, and Ronald of Clackamas, Ore.; and daughter Ronda ’73 of Gresham, Ore.

BOWMAN—Rosamond ’45 was born Oct. 31, 1921, in Pendleton, Ore., and died July 27, 2004, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: brother Arnold of Pendleton.

BRIGGS—Carolyn (Hayden) ’59 was born Nov. 26, 1936, in Spokane, Wash., and died Aug. 28, 2004, in Loma Linda, Calif. CRAIG—John ’59 was born April 29, 1926, in Mapton, Wash., and died Feb. 25, 2004, in Portland, Ore. GEER—Gordon Allyn ’49 was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Ottumwa, Iowa, and died July 5, 2004, in Ashland, Ore. Surviving: wife Margaret of Phoenix, Ore; son Gordon Jr. att., of Roseville, Calif.; and daughters Christine Jenkins ’71 of Wrightwood, Calif., and Brook Geer-Person ’75 of Glendale, Calif.

GIFFORD—Heather Lynn (Hull) att., was born Feb. 24, 1955, in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, and died June 5, 2003, in Portland, Ore. HUGHES—Erin-Marie att., was born Nov. 25, 1968, in Rochester, N.Y., and died Oct. 2, 2004, in Blackfoot, Idaho. Surviving: husband Randy of Blackfoot; son Alexander of Blackfoot; daughters Ashley and Aubree of Blackfoot; father Jack of San Diego, Calif.; and sister Elizabeth Quijano of San Diego.

JENSON—William H. (Bill) ’55 was born November 7, 1931, in Bronson, Iowa, and died Sept. 9, 2004, in Collegedale, Tenn. Surviving: wife Clara Belle (Adkins) att., of Collegedale, Tenn.; and sons Rodney of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Russell att., of Charlotte, N.C.

JOPLING—Richard att., was born March 7, 1917, in Mannsville, Okla., and died July 24, 2004, in Apopka, Fla. KAPPEL—Patricia (Hallock) att., was born July 20, 1936, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and died Dec. 7, 2004, in Redlands, Calif. MERKEL—Juanita Frances (Miller) ’42 was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Tampa, Kan., and died Sept. 28, 2004, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Surviving: daughters Judy Donahue of Beaver, Wash., and Cythnia Stout of Coeur d’Alene.

MILLER—Frederick James Jr. att., was born August 26, 1948, in St. Helens, Ore., and died Feb. 9, 2004, in Anchorage, Alaska. OLIVER—Charles ’39 was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Oak Grove, Ore., and died June 14, 2004, in Vancouver, Wash. Surviving: wife Orilee Robbins-Oliver of Vancouver; son Ron of Battleground, Wash.; brother John ’36 and ’43 of Sacramento, Calif., and sister Mary Pick of Sand Point, Idaho.

PENDRY—J. Harold att., was born May 26, 1913, in Pullman, Wash., and died Sept. 29, 2004, in Placerville, Calif. Surviving: wife Fyrnn (Nevis) att., of Placerville; and daughter Candace Rose of Delhaven, Miss.

RUNNING—Dorothy (Peterson) ’31 was born July 22, 1911, in Woodburn, Ore., and died Dec. 26, 2001, in Ashland, Ore. Surviving: husband Andrew of Ashland; son Thomas of Medford, Ore.; and daughter Carol Dawn of Medford.

SCHULER—James David ’33 was born June 15, 1912, in Hood River, Ore., and died May 14, 2004, in Smith River, Calif. SPROUL—Jerry ’61 was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Clark County, Wash., and died April 6, 2004, in Chico, Calif. STEPHENS—Lester Lovett ’37 was born Aug. 26, 1910, in Menlo, Wash., and died Aug. 31, 2004, in San Marcos, Calif. WILSON—James ’57 was born June 16, 1925, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and died June 20, 2004, in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Surviving: sons Glen of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Dennis of Abbotsford.

WOODWORTH—Carol Faye (Barclay) ’53 was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Idaho, and died Nov. 6, 2004, in College Place. Surviving: son Gary att., of Cresswell, Ore.; daughters Janet Comstock ’88 of College Place, and Judy Jones ’93 and ’95 of Ellensburg, Wash.; brother Elwyn att., of Surprise, Ariz.; and sister Glenda att., of Battleground, Wash.

WRESCH—Eunice (Jewell) ’69 was born Oct. 17, 1944, in Bongo Mission, Angola, Africa, and died Oct. 9, 2003, in Loma Linda, Calif. Surviving: husband Robert ’65 of Tamuning, Guam; son Keith ’98 of Loma Linda; daughter Alysia ’01 of Moscow, Idaho; and parents Irma and Lloyd of O’Fallon, Mont.

ZIPRICK—LaVonne ’60 was born Nov. 11, 1934, in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, and died May 3, 2004, in Redmond, Wash.
