ANDERSON—Edgar J. (Eddie) att., was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Mobridge, S.D., and died May 29, 2003, in Cave Creek, Ariz. Surviving: wife Jean att., of Cave Creek; and daughters Sandra Van Mab of Napa, Calif., and Pamela Davidson of Phoenix, Ariz.

ATKINS—Joyce J. (Johnson) ’65 was born Apr. 16, 1943, in Nyssa, Ore., and died Dec. 31, 2003, in Gresham, Ore. Surviving: husband Roger of Gresham; daughters Kimberley Kay of Willamina, Ore., Marci Maul of Portland, Ore., and Jennifer Woods of Vancouver, Wash.; son Ryan of Gresham; mother Edna Johnson of College Place; and brother Darrell att., of Walla Walla, Wash.

BOCK—Virginia Pauline (Blaine) Bock att., was born April 15, 1927, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and died September 13, 2001, in San Diego, Calif. Surviving: husband Robert Cleland Bock ’51 of San Diego; son Raymond; and daughters Patricia Schimke att., and Linda Bock.

CLARIDGE—David E. att., was born June 24, 1921, in Lodgepole, S.D., and died June 6, 2003, in Seattle, Wash. Surviving: wife Esther of College Place; daughters Elaine Triebwasser Cherry of Nampa, Idaho, Lucille Moore of Spokane, Wash., Lynette Dickerson of Milton-Freewater, Ore., Joanette Heinrich ’79 of White Plains, N.Y., Sharon McDonald of Paradise, Calif., and Susan Kruppa of Yucaipa, Calif.; and sons Tom att., of Red Wing, Minn., and Ted of Kapowsin, Wash.

DIXON—Jane (Bruce) ’70 was born July 3, 1928, in Boring, Ore., and died April 23, 2003, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: husband James of Portland; sons Bruce ’77 of Kailua, Hawaii, James att., of Gresham, Ore.; and daughter Barbara Gohl ’73 of Sandy, Ore.

JOHNSTONE—Ilene M. ’46 was born July 14, 1926, in Lincoln, Neb., and died May 3, 2003, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: daughters Kathryn ’79 of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Carol Carmichael att., of Beaverton, Ore.; and son Larry att., of Hillsboro, Ore.

KROMREI—Stanley att., was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Boise, Idaho, and died May 19, 2003, in Boise. Surviving: wife Dorothy (Ladd) att., of Boise; daughters Cindy Schultz ’78 of Boise and Shari Krall of Boise; and sons Gary ’76 of Lenore, Idaho, Tim att., of Boise, and Joel att., of Boise.

KUHLMAN – Teri Lynn ’86 was born Aug. 2, 1959, in Escondido, Calif., and died Jan. 29, 2004, in Walla Walla. Teri earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from wwc and was office manager for the Health and Physical Education Department, as well as aquatic teacher and contract teacher, working for wwc for 20 years. She co-founded the Richard J. Kegley Alumni Fun Run, served as director of the wwc Community Services Program, and was the main feature on an Escape Series documentary on Blue Mountain Television. Surviving: husband Curtis att., and son Spencer of Walla Walla; sisters Kristi McGee of Poway, Calif., and Lenae Haughey of Escondido; brothers Richard Haughey of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and Todd Petrik ’89 of Sacramento, Calif.; and parents Richard and Marolyn Haughey of Escondido.

MCKAY—William “Bill” ’63 was born Nov. 24, 1935, in Auburn, Wash., and died June 19, 2003, in Fort Worth, Texas. Surviving: wife Ann ’63 of Cleburne, Texas; son Darrell; daughter Felicia; sisters Iris Bradley and Lois Shaffer; and brother Robert.

MORGAN—Lucille Evelyn (Gleyre) ’40 was born March 18, 1920, in Alva, Okla., and died Oct. 11, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. Surviving: husband Wes att.; daughters Carol Koenig of San Antonio and Joy Hall of San Antonio; and son Cliff of Moses Lake, Wash.

NECKER—Pauline B. att., was born Oct. 3, 1920, and died July 28, 2003. Surviving: daughters Janet Vieau att., of Yucaipa, Calif., and Judith Paul of Chocorua, N.H.

SEVERANCE—Harland Kenneth ’50 was born August 7, 1923, in Pasadena, Calif., and died April 30, 2003, in Albany, Ore. Surviving: wife Thelma of Albany; sons Kent of Jefferson, Ore., and Kenneth, Donald and David, all of Albany.

RASMUSSEN—Birdie (Hitchman) att., was born April 23, 1919, in Oregon City, Ore., and died June 12, 2003, in Cheney, Wash. Surviving: daughters Caroline Salsbery ’64 of Gaston, Ore., Evelyn Connell att., of Loma Linda, Calif., and Verna Wetmore att., of Spokane, Wash.; sons Richard of Spangle, Wash., Tom of Riverside, Calif., and Harry ’76 of Lemoore, Calif.; and sister Lenella Chellis att., of Wenatchee, Wash.

ROYAL—Marydean (Silcox) ’55 was born Jan. 19, 1928, on Whidbey Island in Washington and died June 27, 2003, in Everett, Wash. Surviving: husband Clifton att., of Everett; son Daniel ’84 of Shoreline, Wash.; daughter Lorinda Koller ’82 of Everett; and sister Marj Silcox of Granada Hills, Calif.

VAN HOOSE—Violet (Kennedy) ’31 was born June 18, 1910, in Pampa, Wash., and died March 18, 2002, in Kennewick, Wash. Surviving: husband Cecil of Kennewick; and daughter Lois Hanson of Bremerton, Wash.

VIXIE—O. Alden att., was born May 14, 1923, in Viking, Minn., and died May 21, 2003, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: wife Hilda ’71 of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; sons John ’74 and ’78 of Modesto, Calif., Robert ’75 of Ridgefield, Wash., Bill ’82 of Milton-Freewater, David ’77 and ’83 of Paradise, Calif., and Doug ’78 and ’82 of Wenatchee, Wash.; and sister Luverne att., of Gresham, Ore.

WHITE—Gary ’85 was born Dec. 10, 1953, in Provo, Utah, and died June 15, 2003, in Dayton, Wash. Surviving: brothers Dan of Monroe, Wash., and Russ of Walla Walla; sister Candi Brinkerhoff of SeaTac, Wash.; and parents Dale and La Rita White of Dayton.

WILSON—Kenneth W. ’35 was born July 27, 1912, in Boulder, Colo., and died July 13, 2003, in Dinuba, Calif. Surviving: wife Sylvia of Dinuba; daughters Janet Kahler att., of Auburn, Calif., and Lois Moore ’61 of Caldwell, Idaho; son David att., of Denver, Colo.; and sister Gladys Tannahill.
