ALDERSON—Paul C. ’37 was born March 17, 1912, in Weiser, Idaho, and died Dec. 18, 2002, in Highland, Calif. Surviving: wife Margaret att., of Highland; and daughters Barbara Heisler ’56 of Highland, Betty Lou Woodland ’63 of Berrien Springs, Mich., and Beryl Johnson ’64 of Niles, Mich.

ANDERSEN—Leo Robert ’50 was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and died Dec. 1, 2001, in Calgary. Surviving: wife Phyllis of Calgary; sons Roger att., of Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada, and Kevin att., of Calgary; and daughter Carol Gimbel att., of Chehalis, Wash.

BAKER—Jake W. att., was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Hitchcock, Okla., and died Jan. 3, 2003, in College Place. Surviving: wife Helen att., of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; sons H. Brian of Las Vegas, Nev., Steven of Roseburg, Ore., and Kevin of Wasella, Alaska; daughters Janet of College Place, Cheryl of Walla Walla, and Cherie of College Place; and brothers Prince V. ’50 of Monroe, Ore., and Terrell Snyder of Redlands, Calif.

BELKO—Boris ’57 was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and died Oct. 23, 2002, in Palm Springs, Calif. Surviving: wife Deborah of Palm Springs; sons Bret att., of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Lloyd Claycomb of Denver, Colo.; daughters Bobbi of Chico, Calif., and Kresha Claycomb Britton of Riverside, Calif.; mother Jennie of Turlock, Calif; and brother Ivan att., of Turlock.

BLEGEN—Jane att., was born May 15, 1944, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and died May 18, 2002, in Spokane, Wash. Surviving: husband Brad; daughter Rebecca of Seattle, Wash.; son Robert of Spokane; mother Evelyn Ayer of Spokane; brother Larry Ayer of Moscow, Idaho; and sister Julie Ayer of Minneapolis, Minn.

BOLTON—Warren Floyd att., was born Nov. 5, 1920, in McGee, Saskatchewan, Canada, and died Sept. 14, 2002, in Visalia, Calif. Surviving: wife Carol Colleen of Exeter, Calif.; daughters Heather Featherston att., of Penn Valley, Calif., and Stephanie of Redlands, Calif.; son Christopher of San Francisco, Calif.; and brothers Glenn of College Place, Earl of Wenatchee, Wash., and Ralph of Spokane, Wash.

CANWELL—Joe att., was born July 26, 1914, in Spokane, Wash., and died Jan. 12, 2002, in Spokane. Surviving: wife Dorothy ’47 of Spokane; sons Lee ’73 of Brewster, Wash., and Keith ’76 of College Place; and brothers Albert and John of Spokane.

CARLSON—Brent A. ’77 was born June 4, 1952, and died Aug. 8, 2002, in Nashville, Tenn. Surviving: wife Glenda of Nashville; son Chris of Orlando, Fla.; daughter Erin of Nashville; parents Art and Lucile of Fletcher, N.C.; and brother Phil of Nashville.

EBEL—Delpha W. Mohr ’39 was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Clinton Mo., and died Sept. 25, 2001, in Ellensburg, Wash. Surviving: husband Menton Ebel ’39 of Ellensburg, Wash.; and daughters LaVonne VonBergen att., of Burlington, Wash., and LaRenne Lacey att., of Ellensburg.

EICHNER—Donald O. ’51 was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Pendleton, Ore., and died Jan. 7, 2003, in College Place. Surviving: wife Bonny ’51 and ’80 of College Place; daughters Diane Katsma ’81 of Turlock, Calif., and Dawna (Bambi) ’79 and ’82 of Oslo, Norway; sons Doug ’83 of Portland, Ore., and David ’83 of Gresham, Ore.; and sister Dorothy Vaughn of Landrum, S.C.

EISENBACH—Martha Freida (Schell) ’38 was born June 3, 1914, in Turtle Lake, N.D., and died Nov. 25, 2002. Surviving: sons Larry and Roy; grandchildren Ryan and Tiffany; daughter-in-law, Annete; brother Melvin Schell; and stepsister Leah Wagoner.

GILBERT—Archie Ernest att., was born Dec. 12, 1911, and died Jan. 13, 2002. Surviving: wife Margaret of Pleasant Hill, Ore.; and daughter Elaine Saxton att.

GRIFFIN—John W. ’48 was born March 9, 1914, in Anacortes, Wash., and died July 2, 2002, in Portland, Ore. Surviving: wife Ruby (Sulzle) att.; daughter Jeanne Roberts ’66 of Cleburn, Texas; son John ’64 of Portland; and sisters Naomi Cochran of College Place and Anita Hall ’52 of Pasco, Wash.

HARRIS—Lorraine ’80 was born June 19, 1931, in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada, and died Sept. 6, 2002, in Swan River. Surviving: husband Stuart of Swan River; sisters Shirley Wilmont, of Loma Linda, Calif., Marilyn Brewster of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada; nephew Mark of Langley, British Columbia; and niece Charlene of Lynden, Wash.

HELMS—Clarence (Dick) ’49 was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Morley, Mich., and died Aug. 30, 2002, in Roseburg, Ore. Surviving: wife Lois ’49 of Roseburg; daughter Carol (Helms) Jewell att., of O’Fallon, Mo.; and son Bernard ’77 of Berrien Springs, Mich.

HOOPER—Clyde H. ’67 was born June 19, 1945, in Walla Walla, and died June 30, 2002, in Des Moines, Iowa. Surviving: wife Carol Jean of Grants Pass, Ore.; son Ensign Jared of Annapolis, Md.; parents John ’53 and Irmgard ’44 of College Place; sister Jeanie Reed att., of Albany, Ore.; niece Kris James of Vancouver, Wash.; and nephew Kelly Reed ’98 of Albany.

HOOPER—King ’57 was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Castle Rock, Wash., and died Nov. 5, 2002, in College Place. Surviving: daughter Barbara Guth ’82 of College Place; and brother Jack Hooper ’53 of College Place.

JOHNSON—Esther ’28 was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Granger, Wash., and died April 18, 2002, in Aloha, Ore. Surviving: daughter Bernadine Carr ’55 of Aloha; son Glenn E. ’58 of Berrien Springs, Mich.; sisters Edna Shephard of Newberg, and Martha Pasko of Dundee, Ore.; and brother Amos Skadsheim of Modesto, Calif.

LOSEY—Jimmie ’49 was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Bassano, Alberta, Canada, and died Nov. 30, 2002, in Walla Walla.
