College Avenue Crossings

In search of a little privacy, Andy Humbert, sophomore civil engineering major, takes to the dimmed halls of Sittner for a friendly phone call. Hallway conversations like this are a regular practice among dormitory residents, providing students with "personal space" in close quarters.

One of the two men’s residence buildings, Sittner Hall houses 400 students and features a study area, television room, kitchenette, weight room, and a spacious lobby in which Monday night OPS worships are held.

Across campus is Meske Hall, home to approximately 100 upper-division male students. Originally the building was Conard Hall, the college’s first women’s dormitory building. Renamed in 1996 for former dean of men, Walt Meske, the building also houses campus offices such as student health, multicultural services, and testing and counseling.
