College Avenue Crossings
Fawn Halverson, freshman theology major and one of 10 student callers, talks with an alum during this years Annual Fund phonathon.
After 10,860 calls, the phonathon raised $102,430 in donations and pledges this year, well surpassing the set goal of $80,000.
The students conducting this years phonathon were predominantly freshman and none had ever participated in a phonathon for WWC before, but the enthusiasm was high and the success reflected that.
The phonathon gave these students the unique opportunity to connect with alumni. The calls did not only include gift requests, but also incorporated prayer, listening, and time for alumni to find out about campus life.
