ASHLEY—Mary Jean (Gepford) att., was born July 19, 1921, in Laurelwood, Ore., and died Dec. 26, 2002, in Mesa, Ariz. Surviving: husband Cecil ’50 of Mesa; son David att., of Portland, Ore.; daughter Julie Murphey ’71 of Carsonville, Mich.; and sister Dorothy Carl of Gladstone, Ore.

AXFORD—John Jay Jr., att., was born April 9, 1937, in Portland, Ore., and died March 28, 2003, in Vancouver, Wash. Surviving: sons John ’90 of Vancouver and Scott of Clearwater, Fla.; daughters Jodee Cairns of Vancouver and Heidi of Collegedale, Tenn.; brother Robert ’48 of Kennewick, Wash.

BRYANT—James Michael att., was born Feb. 28, 1953, in Madison, Tenn., and died Jan. 20, 2003, in Walla Walla. Surviving: wife Grace (Kincaid) att., of Walla Walla; son Kip of Southport, Australia; daughter Beth Wade of College Place; father Lane of Charlotte, N.C.; mother Daisy of Charlotte; brother Stephen of Charlotte; and sister Dawn of Charlotte.

BURGESS—Esther (Prins) ’77 was born March 18, 1933, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and died Feb. 28, 2003, in Walla Walla. Surviving: husband David Burgess att., of Walla Walla; sons Aaron and Jesse of Walla Walla; and daughter Caitlin of Bellevue, Wash.

CARR—Kathleen E. (Glenn) ’50 was born June 19, 1926, in Cambridge, and died Feb. 6, 2003, in Walla Walla. Surviving: husband William of Salem, Ore.; and son Perrie Prescott of Milton-Freewater, Ore.

CHANDLER—Earl Clifford ’60 was born July 16, 1915, in Detroit, Mich., and died March 2, 2003, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Surviving: wife Hazel of Sandpoint; daughter Patricia Smith ’68 of Eagle, Idaho; and son Richard of Walla Walla.

COOPER—Dora M. att., was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Weiser, Idaho, and died March 1, 2003, in Portland, Ore.

CORSON—Juanita Ann (Watrous) ’80 was born June 8, 1959, in Villarica, Ga., and died Feb. 19, 2003, in Lincoln City, Ore. Surviving: husband Gerry ’80 of Lincoln City; sons Lawrence and Reuben of Lincoln City; father Arthur Watrous of Charlo, Mont.; mother Clara Mae Watrous of Charlo; and sister Rebecca Sue Watrous of Charlo.

CRANE—Donald ’50 was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Hemet, Calif., and died July 20, 2002, in Salem, Ore. Surviving: wife Florence of Salem; son Dennis att., of Yakima, Wash.; and daughter Debbie Meyer.

DAVIDSON—Cyrus Alden att., was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Kinder, La., and died Jan. 25, 2003, in Eatonville, Wash. Surviving: wife Doris of Eatonville; daughter Cheryl Terry of Eatonville; son Larry of Tacoma, Wash.; and sister Pauline Haynes of Blairsville, Ga.

ERWIN—Beverly “Becky” (Gage) ’71 was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Whitehall, Wis., and died May 12, 2003, in Walla Walla. Surviving: sons Scott of Walla Walla and Kirk of Knoxville, Iowa; sisters Barbara Gage Hunt of Richland, Wash., and Jean Ronald of Naperville, Ill.

FOLKES—Lawrence C. ’45 was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Denton, Mont., and died July 31, 2003, in Fresno, Calif. Surviving: sons Dennis and David; daughters Nancy and Sandra.

FRISTAD—Harold Kenneth ’50 was born Sept. 5, 1917, in Veradale, Wash., and died Nov. 8, 2002, in Centralia, Wash. LILE—Cleo ’58 was born March 12, 1923, in Stanford, Ore., and died Feb. 19, 2002, in Siloam Springs, Ark. Surviving: wife Alyce ’50 of Kansas, Okla.; and daughters Linda of Tilly, Ark., Janet of Knoxville, Tenn., and Julie of Knoxville.

MADSON—James A. ’56 was born March 21, 1928, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and died in 2003, in San Marcos, Calif. Surviving: wife Dolly of San Marcos; daughters Bonnie Sue of Fort Worth, Texas and Barbara of Temecula, Calif.; son Greg of Gresham, Ore.; brother Richard ’56 of Walla Walla.

MASON—Fred Lewis att., was born April 26, 1928, in Morrison County, Minn., and died Jan. 30, 2003, in Centralia, Wash. Surviving: sister Edith Litvin of Hillsboro, Ore.; and brothers Charles of Kansas, and Joe of Minnesota.

McCONNELL—Daniel W. ’50 was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Dayton, Ohio, and died Dec. 23, 2002. Surviving: brother John of Citrus Heights, Calif., sister-in-law, Mildred; nephew Bill McConnell; and nieces Janet Edelman of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Marsha Booth of Brush Prairie, Wash.

MCGHEE—Edwin D. ’49, ’55 was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Pe Ell, Wash. and died July 12, 2003, in Longview, Wash. Surviving: wife Naomi of Longview; daughter Annette Koelsch of Longview; son Fred ’96 of Battle Ground, Wash.; sister Orabell Avey att., of Shelton, Wash.

PARDEE—June Marie (Wood) ’83 was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Patterson, Calif., and died March 11, 2003, in Sacramento, Calif.
