Kris and Karen’s memories of meeting as freshmen, night skiing at Spout Springs and other college experiences inspire the Colorado couple to keep the spirit of Walla Walla College alive. “Maybe we’re idealistic, but we truly had such a great time in college so we are willing to help the school in any way we can,” says Karen. The Ordelheides host alumni events, enjoying the camaraderie of friends, old and new. “It’s fun to see everyone connect again, even people who don’t know each other,” says Karen. “People from Walla Walla share a common bond, no matter what their ages.”
